My dissertation research is on the flocculation dynamics of bacterial aggregates in the bloodstream. My approach is data-driven, focusing on determining empirically the fragmentation and aggregation kernels for modeling the population dynamics. Current efforts are on the post-fragmentation distribution, using fluid dynamics-based stress analysis on known flocs.
